Nobody's safe it's a race that I've run,
The fight that I've fought and I thought I had won,
Leave me alone you don't understand,
On this side of the fence, there's no promised land
See that's where from, where I used to belong,
Though the road to get here has been painful and long
But, I am who I am.
Wednesday
On Wednesday - last week - I had to be in for 9:30am (which makes a nice change since I usually get in at that time.) That's because myself and the other seven members (as well as Ricky'N'Rob, also now known as Roberto and Ricardo, or Robulus and Rickus.) of the SULT were involved in the principle interviews.
Which, I sadly am not allowed to talk about.
So, essentially, I spent the whole day in the same room with nine and sometimes ten other people talking about college stuff.
My class tutor asked me to come and get some papers about my university forums and summer school for it.
Kitkat and I popped into Creative writing for a few minutes to say hi, I wrote a poem about an arctic fox because I was told to choose an animal to be. Then I had to leave again.
After the day we chose our candidate and reported back to the governing board (Ricardo, Roberto, M.H and myself.) While we were waiting, M.H, Ricardo, Roberto and i discussed the animals we would be since i told them about my poem.
Ricardo-Snake
Roberto-Peregrine Falcon
M.H-Monkey
Is the break down of it.
Then, after reporting Ricardo, Roberto and MH went off to the SU, and I ran back for the last bit of Creative writing. Where I ate most of Sean's food, and Vikki checked she and I were still meeting up on Thursday. We were. Let Katie read my story and then I went to the library.
Had to wait around until the FGB dinner, so I sat and write a story for creative writing.
It's about death.
I am so cheerful, non?
The Meal started at...quarter to seven so I wandered in, popped my laptop in a cupboard in case of megalomaniac adults and began to 'mingle' aka eat lots of salmon sandwiches and spring rolls. The catering students gave me water and kept staring at me in awe for being the youngest person in the room.
I met way too many people whose names I cannot put to their faces anymore, too.
I may have to write them down in a little notebook secreted about my person. Many notebooks? Invisible ink for names? I don't think I have enough exposed skin...
I will come up with something...maybe a Dictaphone that goes on when people introduce themselves, but then I'd have to fit voice to name. I barely remember any of them now. I remember Daz, the IT guy because he reminds me of Daz washing-powder. Not that he looks like washingpowder, just that his name is the same as one.
He had a presentation up, and from what I can gather he puts mistakes in them deliberately to see who spots them. I did, and he gave me a one GB memory stick as a prize. It has proven useful for photography, since it was in my coat pocket.
Anyway, so then the Principle's Clerk gave me a lift home 'cause she lives near me and I collapsed as soon as I got in.
Thursday
I was quite late because I over slept I was so exhausted from the day before. Went to photography, MC photographed me for his exam work wearing a blindfold because he thinks they are 'creepy' or something. I don't know why everyone thinks I will make a good candidate to look 'tortured' maybe I am just that deformed facially?
Then I visited Ricardo in the SU room.
Went to Chemistry, don't know what we actually did. I think it was a test, and it was quite easy but everyone else complained it wasn't on the syllabus. Good thing I knew the stuff anyway haha. HF was irritating as usual and I had to keep asking him to be quiet, but aside from that it was uneventful - continued writing my death story. I am enjoying it a little too much.
Does that make me simply morbid, human or suicidal?
Probably just human, considering.
After that, I went to Kuk Sool and we practiced out round-house kicks, and alignment. As well as the levels of using the Dujongs. I'm at level four, and almost belt level on everything else. My teacher says I just need to practice a bit before the exam because I've been ill. Since I'm joining the college Gym anyway, that won't be a problem.
After that, I went to lunch with my mum in Weybridge, and then met Vikki at the station.
We went to Woking on the train and then walked to her house to drop off our stuff. I met her cats, who are adorable and wrote on her white board...no, that is not a euphanism.
Then we walked into Woking, and bumped into a friend of hers called Anthony who then joined us on our travels, he was quite nice. We basically shopped places, then went to the comic book shop in the shopping centre.
I also bought NCIS season one that day.
I saw this AWESOME Star Wars mug, and didn't have any money for it and then Anthony insisted on getting it for me, so I shall pay him back. it's so awesome though, seriously.
Sadly, it's not a great photo.
Anyway, then we met some cool people at the cmic book shop, which is an amazing shop with knives everywhere! What is not to like?!
And, then I ambled back to Vikki's we listened to music and then her mum's friend gave me a lift back to the station because I had no clue how to get back.
Then, I slept. Yay. :P
That was Thursday...
Final words:
'Frailty, thy name is woman!'
Live Long And Prosper, DFTBA!
- Frankie
And death shall have no dominion.
Under the windings of the sea
They lying long shall not die windily;
Twisting on racks when sinews give way,
Strapped to a wheel, yet they shall not break;
Faith in their hands shall snap in two,
And the unicorn evils run them through;
Split all ends up they shan't crack;
And death shall have no dominion.
-Dylan Thomas
