Only when I stop to think about it...
I Hate everything about you,
Why do I love you?
Every time we lie awake
After every hit we take
Every feeling that I get
But I haven’t missed you yet...
Dear Chums,
Here's hoping your days have been better than mine.
Not that mine was overly awful, simply a little wearing.
As per usual, my bus to the station decided to be late. It's not a nice thing waiting for the bus when your gloves have vanished. I am sure that I have invisible holes in my pockets (Emily and I were discussing this earlier) or pixies steal my gloves when I need them, then pop them back when I'm inside. In any case, though for once my bus wasn't diverted into the middle of Surbiton - I didn't get lost - I still missed my train.
As I walked towards the station from the bus stop (God only knows why the bus driver never stops anywhere near the actual bus shelter/ stop sign. Instead, he stops about a metre back. Vair annoying when you're in a hurry.)
Oh, where was I? Yeah, walking up towards the station. First off, I shall give you the mental image of myself, sporting the latest geek fashion - Tron Legacy T-Shirt - and earmuffs, battling with my A2 (Possibly bigger) Photography mood board in its folder. Because it is so huge, and it was windy today, every time the wind blew I lost control of the folder. A rather attractive boy walked past and grinned at me, in what I like to think was an understanding way, rather than a 'youareageekandIamfindingthishilarious' way.
Not that I noticed he was cute, or anything.
I purchased my ticket, with some woman standing over my shoulder tutting because I wasn't going fast enough for her. Let me tell you this, juggling a mood board, school bag, purse, and book is difficult when you're not an octopus. I felt like I should cover my pin, but, it wasn't necessary. I was paying with cash.
Got to the platform, yes, I had just missed yet another train. Thanks to the tutting woman who kept getting in my way. So, it was now time to wait for the Woking train instead of Basingstoke. Since my folder kept blowing madly away, and I was trying to read, I decided the best course of action was to hide in the cafe on the platform.
Another rather attractive guy, 'bout twenty-four followed me in and sat on the other side of the cafe. I am allowed to admire, right? Got up just as the train was about to pull in and the attractive guy in the cafe held the door for me. Score. He got on my train and I admired him briefly before returning to my book. 'Matched' By Ally Condie. I'm quite enjoying it. However, it is my Trainbook, so I only read it on the train . That's actually a lie, if I like a book enough and I get into it I will read it even when I'm in the bath.
...
You didn't need that mental image. I just like books. A lot.
I suppose showers would be more difficult.
I'm going to shut up about that now.
I got to college, ambled into Physics and didn't get into trouble. (Medhat loves me). Then again, I was only fifteen minutes late. We're doing something to do with electricity. I, for once, feel I aced it. I got all the answers right. Sam (aka Simba) wasn't feeling too great because she got drunk over the weekend. A lot. Poor Simba.
I'm currently listening to Rammstein. They're rather sexy...maybe it's because they're so dark and German. I don't literally mean dark. Not that I'd mind if they were dark. German is only sexy when it's guys speaking it though. It's a bit like the Irish accent, I suppose. Probably this only matters to me. But, German men speaking German = Pwoar. Irish men speaking English with an accent/ Gaelic = Rawr!
German Women speaking German = only sexy if you're Natalie from Cascada. Irish Women speaking anything = usually sounds kinda manly.
Not that I don't love Irish women!
Long live Irish women and tea!
Ireland is awesome. :) (Don't kill me, Anna)
Anyway, back on topic. My boring day. I went to visit Ricky'n'Rob in their office in the Student Union building at break. We had a nice chat about the FGB last Thursday I'd gone to, and the Governor's forum I'd missed because I was ill the week before. He read oer the minutes for me, and gave me some info. Agreed to see them at lunch for the SULT meeting. (Student Union Leadership Team) It doesn't say 'Slut'. Though, I have suggested we change our name to SLUT, simply because everyone see it when they look at SULT. We may as well make the most of it.
I went to Photography, Matt convinced Josh, Holly, Emma, Meg and I to help him out with some pinhole photography. (We walked around Emma who was wearing a creepy mask for about five minutes in the cold.) Then escaped back to the A&E building. (Arts and Engineering...we don't go to college in a Hospital.)
What would you do with all the sick people?
Would you have more or less absences from college if your college was in a hospital? You'd never get a day off sick, really.
Showed Bob (my teacher) my Mood board so far for photography, he liked it. Picked up a new book to fill for my exam stuff. I shall be starting on that tonight. Because, I have no life. And, the only other homework I seem to have is for Maths...and a bit of Physics. The Maths is pretty easy and the Physics I was away for.
Had lunch, aka, bumped into Jimmy had a little chat about singing class then went to tell the SULT members I was going to get food. Ran to the food line and the boys in front of me turned 'round when I ran over. One of them said 'hey'. I have no clue why, I didn't know him.
Got pasta, nom nom nom. Had a little chat with Medhat (my Physics teacher) who happened to be in the line and helped him choose what to eat.
I am vair helpful sometimes, I surprise myself.
I was being sarcastic, but, I did help. He asked.
Then, I wandered off back to the Internet Cafe for the SULT weekly meeting. Bumped into George, who demanded a hug and then I had to go. We had our meeting. Somehow ended up talking about BLTs and Bacon sandwiches in the middle of it. We are leaving this out of the minutes for the meeting.
It's nice getting the sofas to ourselves. :) They're so comfy, and we get to tell people who walk in 'Oi, we've got a meeting here. Scram.' Except, when Ricky leaves the room for a few minutes, it's actually only me who's brave enough to tell people we're having a meeting and to leave.
One of the people who barged in had very attractive blusher on.
By which, I mean she had two bright pink circles on her cheekbones.
We talked for all of lunch, then Catherine abandoned me (after eating half of pasta) to go into town and get lunch. We've chosen our three charities for RAG, too.
Also, on a side note : Josh and I found some of the funniest videos (to me) on his iPod, on YouTube in photography. One was a Sylar (from Heroes) video to the Ben Ten theme tune.
Which I have put in here, so you guys can watch it. If you haven't seen Heroes, you probably won't get why it's funny. But, since I am cool (yeah, ha.) and LOVE Heroes (especially Zachary Quinto who plays Sylar) and I like Ben Ten. I told you I was cool.
The second video we found was another Sylar fanvideo (the fun doesn't end) to the Pokemon Theme tune. Ha! Awesome. It's even better.
Watch it. :)
I found it most amusing. It also fit with the character of Sylar a tiny bit better. But, both are uberly awesome. :)
I hope you enjoy them. And, if you do, make sure you go and watch Heroes! Now!
My Chemical Romance are kind hot, aren't they?
I am boy crazed. I don't mind. It makes me smile...you know, that creepy stalker smile. Like the Child Catcher. That's me.
Haha.
Then I was walking to the A&E building with Palmer and bumped into S and Gee. Palmer went off to his car, and S, Gee and I went to the Mac Suite. Then we got told to piss off, so we walked to the canteen and watched S eat way too much. Palmer reappeared and we all just sat there like loons talking about weird things. Gee thought I was on drugs because I was happy. Do you see what I'm up against?
Anyway, then I had tutorial. Which was boring, to be honest. Then, had a chat with my tutor and went to Chemistry. Nothing interesting happened there except that I played Robot Unicorn Attack on Nic's phone and beat his high score by triple. We talked about Nigerian Fanta, because Paula had brought some back from her holiday there. Apparently, it's better than normal Fanta.
I proceeded to potter home through the forest, bumped into Emily and Salonee. Salonee and I talked about how she'd written her own report for Biology (their teacher let them) her's said 'I am the perfect student'. I found it quite funny. Then Emily and I got our tickets, I acted like a complete fool and couldn't work out why the machine wouldn't take my money. Answer? I hadn't confirmed my selection. T_T. Woe is me.
Emily got her train on the other platform and I went to see if Anthony and Sean were on mine. Anthony appeared...like a ghost and gave me a hug and then we started talking about eyes and shiny things. We got the train home together and then walked through Surbiton high street until it was his turning home. Said goodbye, and I went and got my bus. Read all the way home and arrived to have my mother promptly tell me to go and put the rubbish out.
I am so under appreciated.
Returned to the house, told not to touch the walls, they have been painted and yelled at before I even do anything. Honestly. Parents are so unreasonable.
Retired to my room, told to sort out my hats etc. and see if I want to get rid of any. The going pile is very small. Everything in it is pink.
I am now watching Xena The Warrior Princess. I have just written the most boring blog ever.
My friend's dad came over with our fixed computer (he fixed it) and I asked if he'd buy a game online for me because my mum doesn't like credit cards. He said he would. Because I was half undressed I had to ask by shouting from my room to my mother, who relayed it to him.
Me: Can I have Nyx-Quest?
Mother: Can she have Nyx-Quest? That's N-I-C-K.
Me: No, it's not. It's Nyx.
Mother:It's about Safari.
Me: It's about Greek Mythology.
Mother: The company that makes it is called Safari then.
Me: The company's called 'Steam.'
Mother: T_T
Friend's Dad: *Facepalm at us*
There's not much else I can think to say about my day. Aside from that I have never seen the last two episodes of Xena I've watched, even though I *Know* I watched the entire series through. I must have fallen asleep last time.
I really want The Adventures of Sinbad and Hercules The Legendary Journey on DVD. :(
I am writing from more...um...writing stuff for...word...stories! for Katie my creative writing teacher.
Also, Photography was vair amusing. I played Josh 'Till I Hear You Sing' from Love Never Dies and it's so moving. I love that song. I was making gestures along with. Clou found it very funny. Holly thinks I am mad. I shall live with it. Good times, good times.
This is all I have to say for now, so, on that note:
"Rich gifts wax poor when givers prove unkind."
